Stolen baby goat returned to Bloomingdale farm

BLOOMINGDALE, Ga. (WTOC) - A two-week-old baby goat named Tot was returned to her Bloomingdale farm Thursday, days after she was stolen over the weekend.

Tot was taken from the farm Saturday. Farm owner Kimberly Reaves spoke out Tuesday, hoping someone would come forward with information about who took Tot and where she might be.

“I can’t even explain it, there was just so much, so much joy and happiness of having her back,” Reaves said.

“Really cool to see everybody come together, when something like this happens,” Reaves said.

Hours after Reaves spoke out, she received multiple tips from community members that led to Thursday’s homecoming.

“A man that wanted to drop her off, he had nothing to do with it but knew it was our goat and wanted to return it,” Reaves said.

Reaves said as soon as Tot’s hooves hit the ground, she went to reunite with her brother, Tito.

“Tito, as soon as he seen her, he started jumping around her, he was super excited to see his sister, he recognized her right away,” Reaves said.

The Reaves family thanked everyone who helped connect the dots that helped bring Tot back home.
