Kayakers return home safely after water rescue at Kings Ferry
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Chatham County Fire Department said they were dispatched to Kings Ferry for a report of three missing kayakers but they later found they safely returned home.
They said they got there at around 9:20 p.m. on Saturday to provide mutual aid for the Bryan County Fire Department.
“A unified command was established at the boat ramp with CCFD and Chatham County Police. Shortly after the search began, it was confirmed that the kayakers had safely returned home,” they said.
No injuries were reported as well.
