Free FIFA World Cup tickets available for veterans, military and first responders

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Bank of America, Vet Tix and FIFA announced a new partnership to provide $2.25 million worth of FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets to veterans, currently serving military, first responders and their families living near Atlanta.

The initiative is part of Bank of America’s efforts to honor the nation’s upcoming 250th celebration, and organizers say ticket opportunities will begin with the second match played in the U.S. and span all stages of the tournament through the final.

Vet Tix is a nonprofit that provides free event tickets , including sporting events, concerts and family activities to give back to those who serve.

Organizers say 250 tickets will be set aside specifically for U.S. Men’s National Team matches.

Bank of America will contribute $2 million to Vet Tix to support the purchase and distribution of tickets, with Vet Tix contributing an additional $250,000.

Eligibility for both programs is securely verified through ID.me. Once tickets become available, Vet Tix and 1st Tix members will receive an email alert with an opportunity to secure free tickets to an Atlanta match.
