UPDATE: Missing 78-year-old Reidsville woman with dementia found safe
REIDSVILLE, Ga. (WTOC) - [UPDATE 4:20 p.m. 8/25/2025] Carolyn Culbreth has been located safely, family members have confirmed to WTOC.
[ORIGINAL STORY] The Reidsville Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Carolyn Culbreth, a 78-year-old woman with dementia.
She was last seen at 9:30 a.m. at her residence near Optim Hospital.
Officials say Ms. Culbreth has left her residence and has not returned.

Carolyn is roughly 5ft 6in and approximately 200lbs with short, gray hair and hazel eyes.
She was last seen wearing tan pajamas with stars on them, bedroom slippers, and may possibly be with a small dog (pictured below).

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ms. Carolyn Culbreth is urged to contact the Reidsville Police Department at 912-557-4013 or call 911 immediately.
Multiple officers and assisting agencies will be flooding the area, and locals should use caution when passing through.
