Large police presence on Drayton Street near a parking garage

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - [UPDATE 12:05 P.M.] A member of the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office told WTOC at the scene that a woman was found with injuries and bleeding near the parking garage at Drayton Street and East Congress Street.

They told WTOC the person claimed they were stabbed with a visible wound on their leg.

They said it started from a fight at a nearby business. The business owner confirmed with WTOC that there was an altercation with glass doors and windows being broken.

The scene at the parking garage was cleared just before 11:40 p.m.

WTOC is waiting to hear more from CCSO and/or SPD for more information.
