GSP report details fatal Toombs County crash
TOOMBS COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - WTOC received updates on a fatal crash in Toombs County.
According to a report from the Georgia State Patrol, the man who died, 63-year-old Jimmy Vaughan, was found at fault for the crash.

The report shows Vaughan’s car was pulled over in the southbound lane on North Victory Drive around 2:15 am on August 16th.
It says he was picking up fallen tree branches.
Kristen Deloach was travelling in the southbound lane.

She claims she did not see Vaughan in the road.
Investigators say Deloach hit Vaughan and he died at the scene.
The deputy coroner says Vaughan suffered from compound fracture wounds and a broken neck.
Deloach was arrested at the scene and charged with DUI.
