1 person dies after house fire on Raybun St.
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - One person has died after a fire on the 4100 block of Raybun Street.
When crews arrived at the scene Sunday night at about 7:34 p.m., they found a home with heavy smoke and visible flames.
Savannah Fire says the fire was under control within minutes. Firefighters recovered one resident from inside the home.
The resident was taken to the hospital where they died from their injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Savannah Fire Arson Unit.
