BEAUFORT, SC. (WTOC) - The St. Peter’s Catholic Church Outreach Center located on Lady’s Island in Beaufort opened their Outreach Center this week as a cooling shelter due to the extreme temperatures. They said they are working in conjunction with the United Way of Beaufort and Showers of Dignity.
