TRAFFIC ALERT: Dogwood Rd. to remain closed at Hwy. 80 for several hours after fire
EFFINGHAM, Ga. (WTOC) - Effingham County Fire Rescue says Dogwood Rd will remain closed at Hwy 80 for several hours after a fire Wednesday.
At around 8:50 a.m. fire units responded to a pulled-trailer fire with propane cylinders involved. At 12:30 p.m. fire officials said the flame has been put out, but the road will remain closed for a few hours for clean up and remediation.
“Highway 80 is open but use caution and watch for emergency vehicles,” said Effingham County Fire Rescue.
