Four displaced after house fire on Clearwater Lane in Chatham County

CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - Four people are without a home on Tuesday night following a house fire on Clearwater Lane in Chatham County.

According to the Chatham County Fire Department, crews were dispatched to the scene at 5:54 p.m., arriving just before 6:00 p.m. Multiple units responded to the call.

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered visible smoke and flames coming from the structure. Crews quickly launched a fast attack, successfully keeping the fire from spreading to neighboring properties.
While the fire was contained and no injuries were reported, four individuals have been displaced from their home. The American Red Cross has been notified and is currently helping the affected residents with emergency housing.
