Man found dead in driver’s seat after crash in Estill

ESTILL, S.C. (WTOC) - A man was found dead in a vehicle after a single-vehicle traffic crash Tuesday morning.
The Estill Police Department said they were notified of the crash on Lawton Avenue near Third Street right before 8 a.m. Police found a vehicle with its lights on in bushes on the side of Lawton Avenue. A body was discovered in the driver’s seat.
Officers are investigating the circumstances of the man’s death and said they will update the public as information becomes available.
Police said the identity of the man will be released after family has been notified.
