ICE removes Jamaican national convicted of child cruelty in Chatham County

NEW ORLEANS, La. (WTOC) - U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said it has removed a Jamaican national convicted of child cruelty in Chatham County.
In a post shared on the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Facebook page, ICE said Daymonia Ramsay, a Jamaican citizen living in the United States illegally, was removed from the country.
ICE did not release additional details about the underlying case, when the conviction occurred, or whether Ramsay has any other criminal history.
The removal was handled through enforcement actions coordinated by ICE’s New Orleans field office, according to the agency.
