HILTON HEAD ISLAND, Sc. (WTOC) - Hilton Head Area Realtors is partnering with The Children’s Center for its annual Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser supporting affordable early childhood education.

The takeout-only event will be held Tuesday, Sept. 29, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at The Children’s Center, 8 Nature’s Way on Hilton Head Island. Meals include spaghetti, meatballs, bread, salad and a cookie.

All net proceeds will support the center’s curriculum-based programs, which serve more than 120 families and children ages 6 weeks to 8 years old each year. Nearly 85% of enrolled families receive tuition assistance through the organization’s sliding fee scale.

The center says its graduating students master more than 90% of kindergarten-readiness skills.

“Supporting The Children’s Center means supporting local families and ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed,” Hilton Head Area Realtors CEO Michelle Sandula said.

Organizers said every dollar raised will directly support The Children’s Center’s curriculum and efforts to prepare children for kindergarten.
