Halloween Spooktacular: Hearse Ghost Tours

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Leading up to Halloween night, WTOC digital host Tyler Walls climbed aboard one of Savannah’s most recognizable late-night attractions for a special Halloween Spooktacular segment: Hearse Ghost Tours.

Operating year-round, the family-friendly excursion offers an experience guests cannot find anywhere else in the world, guiding visitors through the cobblestone streets and shadowy squares of Savannah in a real hearse modified with open-air sides.

Passengers and tour guides alike claim to have experienced unexplained activity along the route, including sightings of apparitions near the playground beside Colonial Park Cemetery and lingering figures on the balcony of the old Chatham County Jail.

The journey winds through the Historic District, pairing supernatural intrigue and local legends with real history and a healthy dose of dad jokes. Along the way, guides share stories behind some of the city’s most storied landmarks, including the Mercer House, the Davenport House, the Andrew Low House, Monterey Square, the Marshall House, the Olde Pink House and Colonial Park Cemetery.
