Scattered showers should end before midnight. Most of us stay warm and dry overnight with daybreak temps in the low 70s. Scattered afternoon/evening showers and storms continue Thursday. Temps will be seasonable in the low 90s. Rain chances begin to decrease Friday as temps begin to heat up. Highs expected in the mid 90s Friday into the weekend with mainly afternoon rain chances. Low pressure may impact the area Sunday and Monday with increased showers and storms. It’s too early to say exactly how this low will impact us so stay tuned for updates.

Tropical Outlook: Low pressure is expected to form somewhere in the northeastern Gulf over the weekend. It’s still unclear if the low will move west or to the northeast. There is a 20% chance for any development at this time. A tropical wave located southeast of the Cabo Verde Islands has become a little better organized. There is a 10% chance for development over the next couple of days before environmental conditions become more hostile.
