Lane closures ahead as crews resurface Kendall Drive in Beaufort County

BEAUFORT, Sc. (WTOC) - Drivers should prepare for daytime lane closures as Beaufort County continues its road resurfacing program.
Crews are scheduled to work from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Beaufort and Bluffton areas, weather and scheduling permitting.
Work on Kendall Drive will follow this schedule:
- Monday, Aug. 31: Milling operations
- Tuesday, Sept. 1: Paving operations
Drivers can expect to see lane closures, traffic cones and signs directing vehicles through the construction area. Motorists and nearby residents are encouraged to slow down, use extra caution and prepare for possible delays when approaching the work zone.
The resurfacing project is funded by the Beaufort County Transportation Committee.
