“I unequivocally deny every allegation that has been made against me.
For the past 30+ years, I have built my life around relationships and community.
Those who know me know the man, father, husband, and friend I have been throughout my life.
Because this is an active legal matter, I am limited in what I can say.
What I can say is that I have complete confidence in the facts and in the legal process.
I will continue to cooperate fully and trust that the truth will come to light.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out with support and encouragement.
My family and I are deeply grateful."

Morgan, a radio and TV personality best known in Atlanta for hosting on V-103 and for his role in the city’s hip-hop scene, was arrested Saturday morning on charges of aggravated battery and third-degree cruelty to children.

According to Morgan’s arrest warrant, his wife told police she and her husband were arguing on May 9 over a series of text messages between Morgan and a co-worker. When Morgan’s spouse began recording a video of the argument over her cell phone, she obtained a “small bruise to her lower left lip,” the arrest warrant said.
The couple was also trading insults, with Morgan allegedly telling his wife, “You’re PSYCHO.” According to the arrest warrant, she retorted, “I will show you PSYCHO,” as the couple began a physical fight over a computer.
Morgan’s wife “stumbled and landed headfirst into a door which left a deep laceration” over her left eye, the arrest warrant said.
The wound required “numerous stitches” and there was still “visible disfigurement” above the eye a month later, according to the warrant.
The couple’s 13-year-old son was in the home at the time of the incident, resulting in the child cruelty charge.

Morgan has become a major local name in Atlanta media through V-103, where he’s been associated with on-air hosting and entertainment coverage. He later gained wider fame as host of BET’s Rap City, including “The Basement” and other TV projects.
For the past several seasons, Big Tigger has served as an in-game DJ for Atlanta Falcons home games.
Before his arrest, Morgan had previous taken to Instagram to deny “allegations and accusations” about his personal life.
