SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The United States Senate passed a bill that will provide more funding for military construction.
It includes $556 million dollars for nearly a dozen projects across Georgia.
In the bill, Fort Stewart would see $8 million for an Aircraft Maintenance Hangar design, as well as $45 million to finish barracks at Fort Stewart.
The Savannah/ Hilton Head International Airport will see $27 million for a Dining Hall and Services Training Facility.
