Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office searching for escaped inmate

TATTNALL COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - The Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) is seeking the public assistance’s locating an inmate worker who walked off from their job at the Tattnall County Jail.

Deputies say Andy Lee Tootle, 53, was completing his assigned car wash detail when he walked away.

Tootle’s last known address on Holiday Lake Road, Reidsville, GA 30453 and last seen wearing an orange inmate worker t-shirt and blue pants.

Tootle was being held for a misdemeanor probation violation related to failing to appear for a status hearing.

His original offense was Possession of a Drug-Related Object.

According to TCSO, Tootle is not considered armed or dangerous.
