Sword fighting tournaments, Viking battles, and more: Statesboro Renaissance Festival happening this weekend
STATESBORO, Ga. (WTOC) - The Statesboro Renaissance Festival will be happening this weekend, September 27 and 28, 2025, at the Bulloch Agricultural Facility.
The Statesboro Renaissance Festival will run from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days.
Tickets are available online with prices starting at $16.27 for adults and $13.08 for children.
According to a press release, the Statesboro Renaissance Festival will include the following events:
- Sword Fighting Tournaments: Witness the art of Historic European Martial Arts in thrilling competitions
- Viking Battle Reenactment: Experience the intensity of medieval battles
- Live Music and Entertainment: Enjoy Renaissance-style tunes by Larry the Flute Player and other talented performers
- Interactive Shows: Marvel at the death-defying Dead City Circus Sideshows, featuring fire-breathing and sword swallowing
- Mermaid Show: Meet Tybee Mermaid and her friend in an enchanting underwater experience
- Kid-Friendly Activities: Bounce houses, face painting, pony rides, and more!
- Craft Vendors and Food: Explore over 85 craft vendors and savor delicious eats from 10 food trucks
- Archery and Axe Throwing: Test your skills in these medieval activities

The Bulloch Agricultural Facility, where the Renaissance Festival will take place, is located at 44 Arena Blvd. in Statesboro, Georgia, 30458.
