3 men arrested after Chatham County officers interrupt burglary in progress

CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - Chatham County Police said officers interrupted a burglary in progress and arrested three men Tuesday afternoon.
What happened
Officers were dispatched around 5 p.m. Tuesday to a report of a burglary in progress in the 300 block of Quacco Trail, police said.
Patrol officers arriving at the scene saw three men loading items from a storage shed into a trailer attached to a pickup truck, according to police.
When officers approached, police said one suspect ran. A foot chase followed, and officers caught the suspect and took him into custody along with the other two suspects at the scene, according to police.
The Chatham County Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division investigated the incident.
Charges filed
Ralph Lawrence Reed, 52, was arrested and charged with felony second degree burglary and misdemeanor obstruction.

Nolan Ryan Martin, 42, and Travis Lee Wilson, 46, were each charged with felony second degree burglary.

All three were booked into the Chatham County Detention Center.
Chatham County Police said they are the lead investigative agency in the case.
