Storage unit thefts have Chatham Co. Police searching for this man

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Chatham County Police Department is searching for a suspect wanted in connection with thefts at a local storage facility.

Chatham County Police Department detectives are trying to locate 31-year-old Hunter Dempsey.

Warrants have been issued for Dempsey’s arrest on charges that include felony theft by taking, second-degree burglary, receiving stolen property and criminal trespass.

The warrants stem from incidents at the Secure Storage Center, located at 3825 Ogeechee Road.

Detectives say units at the storage facility were broken into and items were then stolen.

Dempsey is 5’5”, weighs approximately 130 lbs., and has blonde hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts, or additional information about the case, is being asked to contact police.
