Savannah woman accused of murder after argument turns deadly on Florida vacation
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A Savannah woman is facing murder charges after allegedly stabbing her fiancé during a heated argument at a vacation resort in Orlando.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says they responded to a call reporting that a male had been stabbed in the chest at Westgate Vacation Villas in Kissimmee, Florida.
Upon arrival, deputies identified the wounded man as 61-year-old Harold Mundy.
Mundy was quickly taken to a local hospital by ambulance, where he was later pronounced dead.
According to the sheriff’s office, Mundy’s fiancée, Jameilah Goodine, told them that her and Mundy got into a heated argument, and that she held a knife towards him.
Deputies say she claimed that was an act of self-defense.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Forensic Units were dispatched to the scene to continue the investigation.
On July 20, 2025, the Homicide Unit obtained an arrest warrant for Goodine, charging her with second-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence.
She was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail.
