Richmond Hill school resource officer returns to work after being hit by car in August
RICHMOND HILL, Ga. (WTOC) - A school resource officer who was hit by a car while directing traffic in August returned to work Monday.

Lieutenant Ryan Harwood returned to Richmond Hill Middle School. He was hit at the intersection of Warren Hill and Belfast River Road.
Harwood said he is ready to move forward and is glad to be back.
A “Welcome Back” sign was outside Harwood’s office, along with goodie bags on his desk. Many people greeted him on his return.
