UPDATE: Bluffton Parkway heading towards Okatie HWY reopened

BLUFFTON, Sc. (WTOC) - [UPDATE AT 5:11 P.M.] According to Beaufort County traffic cameras, the intersection was opened back up.

[ORIGINAL STORY] The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office said a crash was reported on Bluffton Parkway westbound at Simmonsville Road.

All lanes of Bluffton Pkwy. heading towards Okatie Highway are blocked. Simmonsville Road heading towards Fording Island Road is also blocked.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes, expect delays and use caution while traveling through this area.
