Murder suspect wanted in June Waters Ave. shooting arrested in Alabama
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Savannah Police Department has arrested a suspect wanted in connection with a June 26, 2025 shooting in the 8500 block of Waters Avenue.
Treyvon Cummings, 20, was arrested nearly 400 miles away in Brantley, Alabama on July 21 for an outstanding warrant related to the shooting.
At about 10:23 p.m. on June 26, Savannah Police officers say they responded to the 8500 bock of Waters Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
The man was then taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
