Kitchen fire in Burton displaces 3 children, 1 adult
BURTON, SC (WTOC) - A kitchen fire inside a home on Pulaski Drive in Burton has caused an adult and three children to be temporarily displaced, according to the Burton Fire District Fire & Rescue Team.
The Burton Fire District, MCAS Fire & Emergency Services, Beaufort County EMS, and the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the reported kitchen fire around 10 a.m. today, July 25.
The residents were already outside the home when firefighters arrived on the scene.

According to the Fire & Rescue Team, firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, confining it to the kitchen area, but the home sustained smoke damages throughout.
Red Cross is assisting with the temporarily displaced family, who were not named.
