BROOKHAVEN, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A Georgia Aquarium worker is facing charges in Brookhaven for having possession of child pornography, according to police.

Christopher Duncan, 38, of Brookhaven was arrested Tuesday when detectives executed a search warrant at a home after police got a tip that someone was getting child sexual abuse material on the internet.

Duncan was charged with 66 counts of possession of pornographic material depicting minors, according to police.

Police say Duncan told investigators that “he was employed by the Georgia Aquarium.” The aquarium has confirmed that he has been placed on immediate administrative leave as the investigation continues.

The search warrant and arrest was done during an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation, which police say “is ongoing.”
