SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The City of Savannah is making facilities available to help residents stay cool Tuesday, July 29, during hot temperatures.
All city community centers, pools, and splashpads are open as follows:

The CSAH Outreach Team will be available from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM. If you are in need of assistance, call 912-784-1794.
The city is also enforcing equine heat safety ordinances. When the heat index exceeds 110 degrees (or when the actual temperature reaches 95 degrees), horse-drawn carriages are not allowed to operate on city streets.
Horses can either be kept at their stands or returned to their stables. All local horse carriage tour businesses have received reminders of the rules.
