Around 24,000 gallons of sewage and stormwater enter creek on Tybee
TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WTOC) - Saturday, the City of Tybee Island gave a public notice about a sewage and stormwater release.
The city said due to heavy rains Saturday afternoon, around 24,000 gallons of sewage and stormwater entered Horsepen Creek.
The City of Tybee Island said they are taking immediate steps to address the situation and monitoring conditions to ensure public health and environmental safety.
