UPDATE: 3 shot with non-life-threatening injuries on W. Bay Street, police say

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - [UPDATE 12:25 a.m.] Three people were shot and sustained non-life-threatening injuries near West Bay Street, according to the Savannah Police Department.

WTOC crews heard from several people at the scene that there was a large gathering at the Fellwood Park when shots rang out.

Fellwood Park stretches from Fellwood Drive to Kenneth Dunham Street.

The park, including a kid play area along with several tents and chairs, was taped off along with some side streets as investigators searched the area.

Savannah Police, Chatham County Police, and Chatham County Sheriff’s Office deputies were at the scene.

Witnesses in the area say a community reunion event for Sustainable Fellwood residents was underway at the time.
