Statesboro Police investigating shooting, crash along South Main Street
STAESTBORO, Ga. (WTOC) - The Statesboro Police Department is investigating a shooting along South Main Street.
The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office says the road is currently closed between Jones Avenue and Tillman Road, including portions near Fair Road. Drivers should avoid the area.
According to the Statesboro Police Department, there is a heavy law enforcement presence on South Main Street at both Azul’s and El Jalapeño.
Officers are investigating a shooting as well as a vehicle accident that happened in that area. Again, please avoid the area at this time.
