Starland District businesses report at least five break-ins overnight

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - At least five businesses in Savannah’s Starland District have been burglarized in a recent string of break-ins, with several targeted more than once.

In a post on social media, One for the Road said it was burglarized again overnight — the second time the business has been hit. The owner shared images of the damage and said the repeated break-ins have left the business feeling “exhausted” and “defeated.”
Multiple businesses targeted
Starland Strange has also reportedly been burglarized twice. Starlandia has been targeted once.

Down the street, Slow Fire Barbecue says it was also burglarized overnight, adding to what the business described as an already difficult period.

Slow Fire plans to operate Friday
Despite the burglary, Slow Fire Barbecue plans to serve food Friday at Eastern Wharf from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The business is asking for community support.
Savannah PD needs help identifying person/persons
