Lane restrictions coming to Buckwalter Parkway in Bluffton next week

BLUFFTON, S.C. (WTOC) - Drivers traveling along Buckwalter Parkway in Bluffton should prepare for delays and lane closures next week due to ongoing construction.
Cleland Site Prep announced that starting Monday, August 10, the two inside lanes next to the center median in front of the Kroger gas station (near 335 Buckwalter Parkway) will be closed.
The closures are required for crews to construct a new turning lane as part of the Livewell Terrace project.
What drivers need to know:
- Where: Buckwalter Parkway median in front of the Kroger gas station.
- When: Monday, August 10, and Tuesday, August 11.
- Hours: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
Crews are asking drivers to use extreme caution, watch for workers and heavy equipment, and obey all posted traffic control signs, reduced speed limits, and digital message boards.
All construction and road work remain weather-dependent.
