Police chief’s statement

“This case shows how hard our patrol officers, forensics team, and Criminal Investigations Division detectives work to make sure every element of every case is thoroughly investigated to give us the best chance of providing justice to victims and their families,” said Chatham County Police Department Chief Jeff Hadley. “And, when a family thanks us for making the case that leads to a guilty verdict – like Mr. Goodine’s family did today – it reinforces why we chose the law enforcement profession and feel privileged to serve.”
