Halloween Spooktacular: Wicked South Haunted Forest

PEMBROKE, Ga. (WTOC) - Digital host Tyler Walls visited the Wicked South Haunted Forest in Pembroke for WTOC’s Halloween Spooktacular special. Staff did his makeup so he could take part in the haunted trail and help scare visitors.

At the haunted forest
Wicked South is an outdoor, walk-through Halloween attraction on a winding path through a forest. The haunt said it is set around an abandoned traveling carnival camp where performers vanished overnight years ago.
The haunt features custom-built carnival rides, antique pieces repurposed by co-owner Tom McCormick, and props from “Fear the Walking Dead” and “The Walking Dead,” including a space shuttle prop. Actors wear custom costumes and makeup.
Community support
The haunt is in its sixth season at its home in Pembroke. A portion of proceeds from select nights benefits Southeast Bulloch High School Project Graduation and the James L. Toles Foundation Scholarship Fund, the haunt said. Wicked South is also a community partner of Southeast Bulloch FFA.
The haunt scheduled fundraising nights for the Toles Foundation’s pumpkin art fundraiser on Oct. 17 and for Project Graduation on Oct. 23.
“We have a passion for organizations who support students,” McCormick said.
