I-95 traffic slowly resumes after overturned truck completely blocked all lanes at GA, SC state line
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A crash completely blocked all lanes of traffic at I-95 in Hardeeville earlier today, November 20, 2025.
The City of Hardeeville has asked locals and travelers to avoid the area for the next several hours.
At the time of writing (5:43 p.m.) SCDOT cameras now show traffic moving slowly through the area.

The cause of the I-95 traffic backup, an overturned tractor-trailer truck, can be seen in the photographs below.




The Hardeeville Police Department advised residents and travelers “to please AVOID Interstate 95 North at exit 5 for the next 6 hours due to a Traffic Accident blocking all lanes of travel."
