Four displaced after fire at Westlake Apartments in Chatham County
CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - Chatham County Fire Department responded to a structure fire that displaced four people, Wednesday in the 1900 block of Westlake Avenue.
Crews were dispatched around 6:02 p.m. and found visible smoke coming from the second floor of the residence upon arrival.
Firefighters contained the fire and prevented it from spreading. No injuries were reported.
The American Red Cross has been contacted and is assisting the four displaced residents.
Garden City Fire Rescue provided mutual aid at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
