Elderly woman injured after home invasion, Alma PD investigates

ALMA, Ga. (WTOC) - Alma police said an elderly woman was injured during a home invasion Thursday night.
According to police, a home on W. 16th Street was burglarized just before midnight. During the incident, a woman sustained minor injuries as suspects forcible entered her home.
Investigators said they are actively working this case and are seeking information on those responsible.
“If you witnessed suspicious activity in the area, have surveillance footage, or know someone who may have information regarding this incident, please contact law enforcement,” shared the City of Alma Police Department.
