A weak cold front pushes south for the area today. This will help bring in slightly cooler temps and humidity. High pressure will be the dominant weather feature into next week. Scattered showers and storms develop this afternoon with highs in the low 90s. Rain chances end by sunset and we’ll be warm and dry overnight with daybreak temps in the low to mid 70s. Dry and seasonably hot Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the low to some mid 90s. Temps heat up again into the mid 90s Friday and Saturday with a slight chance for showers and storms. Afternoon rain chances increase Sunday and Monday as temps remain in the mid 90s with heat index values up to 108.

Tropical Outlook: Low pressure off the Southeast coast is producing disorganized showers and storms. The low is located along a frontal boundary. There is only a 10% chance for tropical development as the system slowly drifts south then westward into Wednesday. Environmental conditions become unfavorable by Thursday.
