The remnants of Arthur will move through the area today. Scattered showers and storms expected and rain may be briefly heavy at times mainly through 3pm. We keep lots of clouds today but we dry out this late afternoon with only a slight evening rain chance. A cold front stalls near the area Saturday before moving back northward into Sunday. This will keep a chance for afternoon showers and storms this weekend. Temps heat up next week with highs in the mid 90s Monday through Wednesday with mainly afternoon rain chances. Summer officially begins Sunday at 4:24am.

Tropical Outlook: The remnants of Tropical Storm Arthur is forecast to move off the southeast coast later today. There is a 10% for redevelopment as the system continues to move quickly to the east. No other tropical development is forecast in the next 7 days.
