Cooling facilities open across Savannah during Tuesday heat advisory

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Cooling facilities will be available across Savannah Tuesday as the city prepares for a heat advisory.
The heat advisory will be in effect July 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with head index values up to 108 degrees expected.
The following facilities will be open for residents seeking a place to stay cool:
Cooling Centers: The following are open 11:00am – 6:00pm
- Grant Center Gym – 1310 Richards Street
Splash Pads: Open 9:00am – 8:00pm
- Victory Heights Park – E. 41st Street
- Avondale Park – 2117 Alabama Avenue
- Ben Van Clark Park – 1202 E. Park Avenue
- Hudson Hill Community Center – 202 W. Lathrop Avenue
- Tatemville Community Center – 333 Coleman Street
- Hull Park – 55th Atlantic Avenue
- Forest Hills Park – 4901 Skidaway Road
- Crusader Community Center – 81 Coffee Bluff Villa Road
Pools: Free and Open to Public 1:00pm – 5:00pm
- Bowles Ford – 1900 Stiles Avenue
- WW Law – 900 E. Bolton
- Daffin Pool – 1301 E. Victory Drive
- Jenkins Pool – 1800 E. DeRenne Avenue
- Tompkins Center – 2333 Ogeechee Road
