Investigators say the suspect targeted the Parker’s Kitchen located on Highway 17 in Guyton. According to deputies, the man entered the store twice over a four-day span, hitting the location at the exact same time, around 3 a.m.

Deputies released surveillance footage of the suspect in action. Although the video is somewhat grainy, it shows the suspect executing what investigators called a “5-finger discount” on lottery tickets.

“If anyone has information on who this lucky contestant is, please give us a call,” the sheriff’s office shared. “Today could be his day.”

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is urged to call the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office at 912-754-3449.
