Camden County man sentenced to more than 17 Years for child pornography charges

BRUNSWICK, Ga. (WTOC) - A Kingsland man has been sentenced to more than 17 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to producing and possessing child pornography.

David Edward Adrian, 69, was sentenced to 210 months, or 17 years and six months, in prison, followed by five years of supervised release.

There is no parole in the federal system.

According to court documents and testimony, investigators obtained a federal search warrant to examine computer equipment belonging to Adrian. Investigators found sexually explicit images of children on multiple storage devices, including images Adrian allegedly produced involving a prepubescent child.

Authorities said Adrian possessed thousands of images and videos depicting real minor victims engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

U.S. Attorney Margaret E. “Meg” Heap said the case demonstrates the federal government’s commitment to protecting children and pursuing those who exploit them.

Adrian was also ordered to pay a $5,000 assessment to the Amy, Vicky, and Andy Child Pornography Assistance Fund.

The investigation involved the FBI, Camden County Sheriff’s Office, Kingsland Police Department and St. Mary’s Police Department.

Camden County Sheriff Kevin Chaney credited investigators and federal partners for their work on the case, saying law enforcement will continue working to identify and prosecute people who exploit children.

The case was prosecuted by Southern District of Georgia Assistant U.S. Attorney Sherri A. Stephan.
