Beaufort County theater teacher takes home district’s top honor
BEAUFORT COUNTY, Sc. (WTOC) - A Robert Smalls Leadership Academy educator has received the Beaufort County School District’s highest teaching honor.
The district named theater teacher Kelly Hall its Teacher of the Year during a ceremony at the Port Royal Sound Foundation Maritime Center.
The event also recognized the individual Teacher of the Year from each school across the district.
Following the ceremony, Hall returned to Robert Smalls Leadership Academy, where students and staff welcomed her with cheers and congratulations.
Hall will now represent the Beaufort County School District as its Teacher of the Year.
