WTOC holds annual Day of Giving food drive
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Thursday is WTOC’s annual Day of Giving food drive.
WTOC is partnering with America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia and the Mike Hostilo Law Firm to collect nonperishable items for families in need this holiday season.
This year, WTOC will be at two locations.
The first location is the Kroger on Mall Boulevard.
The second location is the Kroger on Wilmington Island.
The WTOC team will spent the day at both locations until 7:00 p.m.
According to Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, Thursday’s Day of Giving Food Drive collected 8,013 pounds of food.
Together we collected 2,660 pounds of food at the Kroger on Wilmington Island. And we collected 5,353 pounds of food at the Kroger on Mall Blvd.
