USCB Bluffton lockdown was due to nearby bank robbery, officials say
BEAUFORT, S.C. (WTOC) - [UPDATE 12:53 p.m. 10/22/2025] The lockdown at USCB Bluffton Campus has been lifted, according to a social media post from the school.
WTOC has reached out to Bluffton Police to learn more details.

In a social media post, the school says it is on lockdown due to a robbery at a bank adjacent to campus.
Students, faculty, and staff have received text alerts and should shelter in place, the school says.
USCB says it will announce on its Facebook page when the lockdown has ended.
