Third suspect charged in 2024 Highway 204 murder
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A third person has been charged in connection with a 2024 homicide which claimed the life of 25-year-old Tre’Von Moorer.
Tre’von Moorer was driving a vehicle on Highway 204 near Interstate 95 when he was approached by armed individuals and shot.
The Chatham County Police Department has charged Tyree King (23) with aggravated assault and murder.

King was taken into custody late on August 28, 2025, and booked in the Chatham County Detention Center.
This comes after two brothers were charged in connection to the same case earlier this month.
Both the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the Savannah Police Department assisted in the investigation and arrests in this case, the CCPD said in a press release.

The Police Department also stated that it will not have any further comment on this investigation, and will not be releasing any additional information at this time.
