Suspicious package that shut down Savannah roads removed by SPD
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - [UPDATE 5:03 p.m. 8/13/2025] The suspicious package has now been removed and routes are being reopened, according to the Savannah Police Department.

[ORIGINAL STORY] Wednesday, the Savannah Police Department said Price Street is shut down between East Oglethorpe Lane and East Hull Street. East Oglethorpe Lane is also closed between Price Street and Habersham Street.
Police say these roads are shut down due to a suspicious package.
They are asking drivers to seek an alternate route.
