Screven County Schools responds to social media gun threat, says situation is resolved
SCREVEN COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - Screven County Schools administrators and local law enforcement says they were made aware of social media posts claiming that a student threatened to bring a gun to school Friday.
Administrators and law enforcement said they immediately began investigating the situation and took all necessary steps to ensure the safety of students and staff.
